The Vital Alliance Donor & Recipient Choir made it's debut at the 20th Annual Donor Memorial Tree Planting on 4 April 2009.
The Choir is the brainchild of Mrs. Sandra Haggray. Sandra is the mother of one, the wife of an Active Duty U.S. Army Chaplain, and a Double Lung Transplant Recipient.
A formally trained vocal musician and school music teacher, Sandra was forced to give up her passion when she became sick.
Following her transplant in June,2007, Sandra began to sing again. She performed at a few Vital Alliance and TOSA events and last year proposed the assembly of an All-Recipient Choir.
The Choir has since been opened up to include Recipients, Their Family Members and Donor Family Members.
They have performed at Various Vital Alliace and Donor Related events.
