Vital Allianceis a non-profit organization,founded in January 1989.
Our organization was established by local agencies and hospitals involved with Organ and Tissue Transplantation to coordinate efforts in planning events in San Antonio that supported the First Annual National Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Week.
Vital Alliance has since grown to include Transplant Recipients, Donor Family Members, Health Care Professionals, and local community members.
Vital Alliance continues to promote community awareness and educates the public about the needs and benefits of Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation – the “Gift of Life”

Vital Alliance coordinates the efforts of all local Donor and Transplant related agencies:
♥To effectively provide our community with up-to-date education and information about Organ, Tissue and Cornea Donation.
♥To increase community awareness about the need for Organ, Tissue and Cornea Donors.
♥To increase local Organ Donor registrations
♥To Honor those who have given the “Gift of Life”.
